The Motherson location in Tschirn (formerly the Dr. Schneider Group) is located not far from the mother plant in Kronach in northeast Bavaria. Since 1985, parts for middle and upper class vehicles all over the world have been supplied from here.
Our approximately 170 employees manufacture around 75,000 products every day for almost all well-known OEMs and 1Tiers in the automotive sector.
Our core competencies of injection molding, painting and assembly also come together at this location, with the branch in Tschirn being one of our competence centers and lead plant for 3D robot painting.

The Logistics Department ensures both timely dispatch and delivery to customers. Team members are responsible for maintaining inventory levels, optimising lot sizes and freight costs, and scheduling deliveries to meet the needs of our customers.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP and EDI as well as familiarity with the industrial environment are advantageous.
Candidates should be good at communication, organisation and planning. The ability to work under pressure is advantageous as the Logistics Department is frequently required to find quick solutions to problems that arise in the global supply chain.
Working on the shop floor requires dexterity, physical fitness, and a knack for working with machinery. We are looking for people to work on the preparation and assembly of wire harnesses and cables, as well as related electrical and mechanical parts. We also have openings for various support positions, such as tooling and equipment maintenance and production team leaders.

The location is located directly in the Rennsteig region in the Franconian Forest Nature Park. The area around Tschirn is ideal for hiking or cycling. A popular excursion destination is the Ködeltalsperre, which lies in the middle of the typical low mountain landscape and is one of the largest of its kind in Bavaria.
The arnica town of Teuschnitz is only 6 km from Tschirn. One of the rarest and most powerful medicinal plants, arnica, blooms here - along with around 50 other medicinal herbs. The region also leaves nothing to be desired in terms of cuisine. The home-style cuisine ensures your physical well-being with Franconian dishes.
The chocolates from Confiserie Burg Lauenstein are made at the foot of Lauenstein Castle, which towers over the tranquil town of the same name.
