Our plant located in Puebla, Mexico is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Process Engineer to join our team.
The Process Engineer is responsible for the planning, implementation, and optimization of continuous improvement initiatives across production and assembly lines, using project management, line balancing, time and motion studies, layout optimization, and Lean tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Create and update process flows, PFMEAs, work instructions, and plant layouts for new products and engineering changes
- Conduct MTM‑UAS studies and perform line balancing to meet takt time requirements
- Implement technical changes and optimize production processes and workstations to meet ergonomic and efficiency standards
- Define and control process parameters, equipment, tools, machinery, and headcount needs
- Deliver 24+ efficiency improvements annually and sustain process performance to corporate targets
- Support packaging approvals and ensure alignment of logistics and material flows
- Develop and implement process controls and poka‑yokes; verify accurate work content and method compliance
- Present weekly updates on Continuous Improvement (CI), Kaizen activities, and process optimization initiatives

- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Manufacturing/production knowledge
- Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA) and AIAG‑VDA FMEA
- Lean methods: VSM, Kanban, 5S, JIT, TPM, Six Sigma, Visual Mgmt, SFM
- MTM‑UAS, ergonomic methods (REBA/RULA/OWAS), process simulation
- 8D problem solving; assembly/logistics optimization
- Strong communication, leadership, results focus
- Timer Pro, Yamazumi, VW requirements, change mgmt, tooling, IATF/ISO
- Fluent English
