Motherson SAS in Argentina provides assembled parts just-in-sequence for Ford and Volkswagen. Located in the industrial areas of Buenos Aires Province, MSES operates two plants situated 5 km apart from each other.
The main plant in Pacheco is dedicated to Volkswagen, while the satellite plant in Garín supplies Ford with JIS (Just-In-Sequence) assemblies. The Motherson plants are strategically positioned less than 1 km from the Panamericana Highway, the primary route connecting major car manufacturers with the city of Buenos Aires and its port. Pacheco is unique within the entire Motherson Group as it is the only plant that assembles seats.
MSAS Pacheco boasts three seating assembly lines (one for front seats and two for rear seats), one assembly line for multimodel cockpits, and one for Front End Modules. The Garín location features a JIS assembly line for Ford’s cockpits and also houses the external warehouse for Pacheco’s components.
