What you'll do

Your tasks.

  • Ensure timely and accurate VAT compliance (VAT returns, filings, reconciliations) across multiple countries
  • Support the business with VAT advisory on cross-border transactions, supply chains and day-to-day operations
  • Review and improve VAT-related processes and controls
  • Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess implications for the organization
  • Support VAT audits and tax authority queries in collaboration with local teams and advisors
  • Work closely with finance, accounting and operations in a matrix organization
  • Drive process improvements and standardization in the VAT area
  • Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on VAT topics

What we are looking for

Your profile.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or comparable qualification
  • 5–7 years of experience in VAT / indirect tax (in-house or advisory)
  • Solid understanding of European VAT rules and cross-border transactions
  • First experience in an international environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with VAT compliance processes and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, international matrix organization
  • Fluent in English
