Our Americas region is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sr. Quality Process Regional Engineer for a role based in Puebla location in Mexico.

The Sr. Quality Process Regional Engineer is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with Corporate Quality Standards and Tools, coordinating all Quality activities for SAO plants, and serving as the first level of alert and escalation management.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate and support Quality standards/tools in NAO plants; ensure IATF, customer, and MSAS compliance
  • Monitor plant KPIs and drive performance improvement
  • Manage claims, reports, and systemic actions
  • Analyze/track Non-Quality Costs (scrap, penalties, temp walls)
  • Roll out Quality Fundamentals; track GAPs and action plans
  • Deliver Quality training, qualifications, audits, workshops
  • Ensure lessons learned and complaint risk analyses are shared
  • Propose improvements to corporate quality standards/tools
  • Coordinate quality trainings, workshops, and events
  • Validate consistent standards in new launches
  • Support quality awareness across the region
  • Consolidate data and report monthly KPIs
  • Perform internal system, process, and S&R audits
  • Govern customer claims and escalations globally
  • Support initiatives boosting operator engagement and continuous improvement

What we are looking for

  • Engineering degree
  • Experience as Jr Quality Manager or Sr Quality Coordinator (3 years)
  • IATF 16949 Internal Auditor; VDA 6.3 process audit knowledge
  • Expertise in product safety, conformity, and customer-specific requirements
  • Skilled in Core Tools, APQP (MSAS PMS), GD&T, capacity management
  • Multi-site management and customer relationship experience
  • Strong in problem-solving, risk analysis, and manufacturing process knowledge
