What you'll do
- Develop optimized 2D/3D layouts and simulation models using DOE tools to ensure solutions per site.
- Design, integrate, and optimize logistics systems, material flow solutions, and layout improvements across the organization.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Acquisitions, Regional, and Corporate teams on new projects, RFQs, and supplier innovation.
- Validate layouts and processes through simulation and analysis to ensure performance, quality, compliance, HSE, and ergonomics.
- Support industrial development activities for new project launches and engineering change management (ECR/ECO, BOM, planning).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives including VSM workshops, efficiency optimization, and resource utilization recommendations.
- Create, implement, and maintain regional process documentation (MTM, FMEA, Process Flow) and interface with customer technical teams.

What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Master’s in material flow, simulation, or VSM.
- 5–10+ years automotive (Tier 1/OEM) experience in logistics, assembly, and industrial engineering fundamentals.
- Expertise in layout design, line balancing, lean, time studies (MTM/Timer Pro), and APQP/IATF/FMEA/5S.
- 2D/3D discrete‑event simulation and CAD tools (AutoCAD, CATIA, FlexSim/Witness).
- Knowledge of AMR/AGV, automation, MES, SAP ERP and analytics.
- Travel expectancy 25% of the time
