What you'll do
• Financial management and reporting:
Oversee daily accounting operations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial/MIS statements.
• Budgeting and forecasting:
Develop and manage budgets, create financial forecasts, and implement financial plans to guide long-term and short-term objectives.
• Compliance and risk management:
Ensure the company complies with all financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, GST). Assess and mitigate financial risks.
• Strategic guidance:
Analyze financial data, market trends, and company performance to provide strategic advice to senior leadership for decision-making.
• Cost control:
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability without compromising long-term financial health.
• Team supervision:
Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team, including accountants, and oversee staff matters.
• External relations:
Liaise with external parties such as auditors, bankers, and solicitors.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software (SAP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
