What you'll do
We are currently looking for a new addition to our Logistics team for the position of Customs Expert, which plays an important role in ensuring the smooth and correct flow of goods.
This role ensures customs and tariff compliance, acting as the key contact for customs matters while supporting efficient logistics.
- Ensure full compliance with customs and foreign trade legislation (UCC and related regulations)
- Provide customs and foreign trade support for goods movements and MSAS plants in Europe
- Implement and maintain uniform and efficient customs processes, including ICS and customs authorizations (ZE, VAV)
- Act as the main contact person for customs authorities, audits (internal/external), and company inspections
- Build customs expertise through training delivery, regular reporting, and business travel to plants

What we are looking for
- Min 5 years professional experience in customs, foreign trade, import/export or related areas
- Knowledge of customs tariffs, procedures, customs valuation, origin and preferential law, and non‑tariff trade barriers
- Experience with customs software, internal control systems (ICS), internal/external audits
- Strong coordination skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and European plants
- German – native level /English – intermediate level
