Was Sie leisten

  • Conduct tooling feasibility studies in collaboration with CAD engineers during the product design phase to ensure manufacturability and cost-effective tooling solutions.
  • Review and validate Tool Design, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Mold Flow Analysis for both new and repeat tooling projects.
  • Participate in Specification Review and New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings to support product and tooling development activities.
  • Provide technical inputs for Request for Quotation (RFQ) preparation, including tooling concepts, feasibility, and cost considerations.
  • Monitor Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) and ensure timely implementation of design changes in new tooling projects.
  • Manage tooling and CAD data through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Teamcenter, ensuring data accuracy and traceability.
  • Coordinate sample preparation, trials, and internal activities for dimensional inspection and assembly validation.
  • Communicate tooling issues and corrective actions to tool suppliers based on internal inspection reports and trial feedback.
  • Lead tooling trials and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions in coordination with the Quality Assurance team.
  • Maintain complete tooling documentation and records to support internal, customer, and certification audits.
  • Working knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) concepts.

  • B. Tech (Mechanical) with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in Automotive industry or
  • CIPET / Diploma (Mechanical) with 5-6 of post-qualification experience in Automotive industry
