Our plant located in Sterling Heights, MI is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Traffic Logistic Manager to join our team!
Su tarea
- Oversee logistics and supply chain inbound/outbound processes for automotive supplier;
- Direct all maintenance, repair, and replacement of shipping equipment or vehicles;
- Implements safety audits and trains staff members on safety issues;
- Maintain knowledge of best practices including the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods;
- Reviews, analyzes and manages loss and damage claims;
- Maintain knowledge of regulations related to transportation including those related to hazardous shipments, employee safety, and freight classifications;
- In collaboration with other managers, develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for transportation operations;
- Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, environmental policies, and government regulations;review and analyze expenditures and other financial information.

Perfil deseado
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration discipline or closely related degree or foreign degree equiv
- + 2 years of experience in logistic or supply chain role within auto industry.
Must have some experience in each of the following:
1. Hiring and training transportation staff
2. Supervising employees
3. Overseeing daily workflow, schedules, and assignments
4. Conducting performance evals
5. Handling discipline and termination of employees
