Our plant located in Puebla, MX is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Traffic Coordinator to join our team!
The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for the regional transport control tower, ensuring end‑to‑end logistics visibility, OTIF and operational stability, cost control, rapid risk response through continuous monitoring, data analysis, coordination with plants, suppliers, carriers, and customs.
What you'll do
- Monitor regional inbound/outbound shipments, transit times, borders, and customs
- Manage premium freight and lead crisis response for transport risks or line stoppages
- Consolidate/analyze regional KPIs and standardize traffic processes across plants
- Monitor carrier performance through scorecards
- Support launches, ramp‑ups, and volume changes
- Coordinate transportation strategy with Procurement and Planning
- Prepare weekly operational and financial reports for leadership
- Lead annual plant logistics budgets and consolidate regional budgets
- Track monthly performance vs. budgets, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions
- Evaluate lane/route/mode costs and integrate logistics costs into profitability
- Calculate cost per unit by plant and customer
- Participate in improvement workshops and ensure quality compliance

What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s in Logistics, International Trade, or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years logistics experience; automotive and SAP knowledge
- Ability to interpret drawings, flowcharts, and SAP product structures
- Knowledge of transport regulations, insurance, packaging, and JIT processes
- Materials and complaint management; supply chain optimization
- Key account and pre‑logistics planning experience
- Personnel management and escalation skills
