What you'll do
- Achieve supplier quality objectives, including PPM, KPIs, scrap reduction, response times, assembly testing, and audit compliance
- Respond to supplier quality failures through KPM tracking, analysis, and reporting for metal and plastic components
- Build supplier relationships and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
- Manage warranty claims, supplier incidents, rework activities, and QRCI initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance, incoming quality metrics, action plans, and escalations
- Control nonconforming material, coordinate supplier changes, and support special customer or supplier events
- Manage NCRs, 8D reports, quality costs, FMEA updates, control plans, inspection plans, assembly documentation, and component releases
- Apply drawing interpretation, GD&T, statistical analysis, root cause methods, and quality system requirements for issue resolution support

What we are looking for
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or adjacent
- 3+ years of experience in a similar engineering role
- Automotive quality experience; strong 8D/QRCI problem solving
- Knowledge of SPC, MSA, statistics, and variability reduction
- Expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, core tools, and QA file follow-up
- Supplier audits, scorecards, debit alerts, and transfer management
- Familiar with IATF 16949 and VDA standards (2, 5, 6.3, 6.5, RGA)
