What you'll do

  • Achieve supplier quality objectives, including PPM, KPIs, scrap reduction, response times, assembly testing, and audit compliance
  • Respond to supplier quality failures through KPM tracking, analysis, and reporting for metal and plastic components
  • Build supplier relationships and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues
  • Manage warranty claims, supplier incidents, rework activities, and QRCI initiatives
  • Monitor supplier performance, incoming quality metrics, action plans, and escalations
  • Control nonconforming material, coordinate supplier changes, and support special customer or supplier events
  • Manage NCRs, 8D reports, quality costs, FMEA updates, control plans, inspection plans, assembly documentation, and component releases
  • Apply drawing interpretation, GD&T, statistical analysis, root cause methods, and quality system requirements for issue resolution support

What we are looking for

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or adjacent
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar engineering role
  • Automotive quality experience; strong 8D/QRCI problem solving  
  • Knowledge of SPC, MSA, statistics, and variability reduction  
  • Expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, core tools, and QA file follow-up  
  • Supplier audits, scorecards, debit alerts, and transfer management  
  • Familiar with IATF 16949 and VDA standards (2, 5, 6.3, 6.5, RGA)
  • proficient in English
