What you'll do
- Maintain PPAP files; perform periodic requalification and R&R audits
- Manage defect catalog and boundary samples
- Request initial supplier samples and required documentation
- Coordinate build events and validate initial component samples
- Manage supplier ECRs during serial life
- Define incoming inspection plans and supervise execution
- Ensure supplier conformity certificates and QMS compliance are current
- Implement quality walls and issue claims with 8D follow-up
- Track supplier action plans, audits, and corrective actions
- Manage escalations, chargebacks, KPIs, and worst supplier reviews
- Control NOK, blocked parts, RMAs, and nonconformance
- Report to management; support corporate SQ and training initiatives

What we are looking for
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Automotive quality experience; strong 8D/QRCI problem solving
- Knowledge of SPC, MSA, statistics, and variability reduction
- Expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, core tools, and QA file follow-up
- Experience with control plans, convergence, and improvement actions
- Supplier audits, scorecards, debit alerts, and transfer management
- Familiar with IATF 16949 and VDA standards (2, 5, 6.3, 6.5, RGA)
