What you'll do
- Negotiate material cost
- Negotiate Payment terms, Incoterms and other terms & conditions(T&C)
- Identify and submit cost reductions
- Establish Supply Base Operating Guidelines requirements with supplier base
- Negotiate and Update pricing, Lead time(LT) and minimum order quantities(MOQ)/standard packs
- If supplier change is required, notify plants on transition plan
- Update T&C in JD Edwards system (ERP system)
- Request, review and analyze quotes and select best total cost part
- Update and submit quotes to Quote database/requestor
- Award new business to suppliers
- Input new parts into ERP system

What we are looking for
• Perform supplier on site or phone audits based on IATF Quality standard as needed (new and/or current)
• Knowledge in IATF16949 Quality Standard
• Follow up on tooled components and PPAP approval documentation
• 3-5 years of responsible experience in purchasing, contracting, purchasing policy and procedure. This person will negotiate the purchase of supplies, equipment and services.
• BA/ BS Degree in Business or Engineering.
