Our facility located in Puebla, MX is looking for a hands-on Senior Tax Coordinator to join our team!

The role of the Senior Tax Coordinator will be responsible for leading and supporting all local tax compliance and reporting activities, ensuring full accuracy and timely submission of statutory obligations while working in coordination with the global tax and finance teams.

What you'll do

• Manage corporate income tax, VAT, and other local taxes in compliance with Mexican regulations.

• Lead tax calculations, provisions, and monthly reconciliations.

• Prepare and review tax returns, annual reports, and electronic files (SAT platforms).

• Coordinate external audits and interact with tax authorities as needed.

• Ensure proper accounting for taxes in SAP and alignment with statutory and group requirements.

• Provide support for transfer pricing documentation and related-party compliance.

• Collaborate with external advisors and auditors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and control.

• Participate in improvement initiatives related to tax processes, automation, and compliance monitoring.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 

• 5+ years of experience in a senior role in corporate tax within a multinational or large local company.

• Strong technical knowledge of Mexican tax legislation (ISR, IVA, DIOT, deferred taxes, etc.).

• Experience in tax provisions, reconciliations, and audits.

• SAP experience preferred.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with a problem-solving mindset.
