We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive with strong Japanese language skills (minimum JLPT N3 level) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling procurement activities, vendor management, and communication with Japanese stakeholders to ensure smooth sourcing, negotiations, and supply chain operations.
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, RFQs, vendor evaluation, price negotiation, and purchase order processing.
- Communicate effectively with Japanese vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to support procurement requirements.
- Translate and interpret Japanese documents, contracts, specifications, and supplier communications into English (and vice versa) for internal use.
- Maintain vendor databases, update procurement records, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor delivery schedules, track shipments, and coordinate with logistics teams for timely receipt of materials.
- Support cost reduction initiatives through vendor development and negotiation strategies.
- Work closely with internal departments (engineering, production, finance, etc.) to align procurement activities with business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards while procuring goods and services.

What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum JLPT N3 certification (N2 preferred) in Japanese language.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management (manufacturing/engineering industry preferred).
- Strong onnegotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
