Our facility located in Saltillo, MX is looking for a highly motivated Quality Systems Engineer to join our team!

The role of the Quality Systems Engineer (QSE) is responsible for leading the strategy, administration, and evolution of the Quality Management System to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of corporate standards (Quality Fundamentals), customer requirements, and the IATF 16949 standard.

What you'll do

  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements by maintaining quality systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Plan and monitor internal and external audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA).
  • Report QMS efficiency monthly to management.
  • Manage quality planning, documentation, and updates.
  • Translate customer requirements into QMS language and escalate unmet needs to Corporate.
  • Maintain QMS intranet, change history, and local documents.
  • Oversee drills, document control, and archived files.
  • Support training programs and maintain internal auditor records.
  • Participate in Quality Circles and review actions with Corporate.
  • Promote continuous improvement in safety, environment, and customer satisfaction.
  • Report equipment failures and cyber threats per IT protocols.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Trained as an Internal Auditor with knowledge of product and process audits
  • Understanding of FMEA Requirements, ESD Requirements, and Product Safety Course (Liability)
  • Experience in problem analysis and solving methodologies
  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • Analytical skills, results-oriented, ability to work in an operational and cross-functional environment.
