Our facility located in Puebla, MX is looking for a hands-on Plant Quality Manager to join our team!
The role of the Plant Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements, leading the quality department, and managing implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of the M-SAS Quality Management System. They act as a Product Safety Representative (PSCR), ensuring customer safety requirements are implemented and recorded in customer databases when needed.
What you'll do
- Comply with customer-specific requirements and ISO IATF/TS 16949 norms.
- Establish local audit plan aligned with corporate plan; ensure quality data collection and reporting.
- Assure 8D & QRCI processes; monitor product, supplier quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Represent customer in SAS; authority to block production/delivery for deviations.
- Act as Plant Quality Management System representative; release updated work instructions.
- Support plant transfers, defect prevention, FMEA, and safety-related measures during development and launch.
- Apply “Lessons Learned” for new products; conduct reviews to validate product safety and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure traceability and archiving of product/process data; evaluate failure probability.
- Validate onboarding/training compliance; report equipment failures or cyber threats per IT requirements.

What we are looking for
- 5+ years automotive experience; strong product & process knowledge.
- Certified in Product Quality & Conformity (C.Q.C.); trained in product safety.
- Expertise in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Skilled in audits: second-party, D/TLD, Formel-Q, internal, and VDA 6.5.
- Proficient in design planning, control plans, change management, and tool oversight.
- Experienced in launches, inspections, and customer satisfaction programs.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
