The Metrology Engineer will be responsible for all issues with regards the quality process, measurements of the production parts.
Your task
Update CMM software Maintain the coordinate measuring machine (CMM) Test and calibrate equipment Precisely measure and program CMM for production Read blueprints and renderings Perform layouts Write or edit programming for new projects Mount and install tools, attachments and fixtures Troubleshoot functions Perform in-process and final inspections Document and communicate production issues Keep a record of inventory Supervise other employees Follow safety protocols
