This requirement is under DVS (Digital vision system) Team. DVS Product development encompasses Functional Safety (ISO 26262), Cybersecurity (ISO 21434), and ASPICE domain knowledge. We are looking someone to support us develop pre-development department AI-based vision systems in automotive industry for prototypes and collaborate with serial suppliers for recognition software.
What you'll do
- Development of concepts and architectures for computer vision systems based on artificial intelligence or classical approaches within a given software architecture
- Design and implementation of AI-software (object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, …) considering operational development guidelines
- Software development in programming languages like Python (experienced) and C/C++ (basic level)
- Collaborate with the team to integrate AI solutions into embedded platforms, ensuring efficient deployment and execution
- Process and analyse datasets for the optimization and validation of AI models
- Create validation environment
- Manage and maintain labelling environment
- Advising project management on task planning and assessing technical risks (technical risk analysis)
- Monitoring and evaluation of technologies, concepts and tools for algorithms
- Identification and interacting with potential serial software suppliers
- Verification of externally supplied software packages
- Testing modules and the overall software
- Creating the necessary documentation

What we are looking for
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Familiar with C/C++ and Linux
- A foundational understanding of machine learning and AI principles
- Solid grounding in mathematics and linear algebra
- Very good English language skills (German language skill welcome but not mandatory)
- 2-3 years of experience in algorithm development
- Experience with video processing systems or ADAS
