Our facility located in Puebla, MX is looking for a highly motivated IT Engineer to join our team!
What you'll do
- Ensure 24/7 availability, reliability, and stability of production environments, including network, server infrastructure, and Just-in-Time systems. This involves installing updates, performing maintenance, and conducting health checks on operating systems and applications.
- Assist in root cause analysis, ensure timely contingency execution, and support remediation. Resolve 1st-level support issues, escalating as needed.
- Implement and manage data backup/recovery. Perform risk analysis, identify failure modes, ensure contingencies, and validate high availability/redundancies.
- Manage IT projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to company/regulatory policies, including IT security.
- Maintain detailed documentation, process definitions, and contribute to end-user and team training.
- Coordinate with regional, corporate, and purchasing for IT equipment, services, and contracts.

What we are looking for
- Education: Bachelor’s in IT or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in the automotive industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting; proficient in Linux, Windows, VMware, and networking fundamentals.
- Communication: Effective written/verbal English for problem description and L2/L3 support interaction.
- Soft Skills: Team/client-oriented, problem-solving drive, embraces continuous improvement.
- Bonus Skills: iSeries, Veeam, SQL/DB2, Check MK/Grafana, MCSE, A+, Network+.
