What you'll do
Task Description – Supplier Technical Assistance (Deputy Manager – Quality)
As a Deputy Manager – Quality, You Are responsible for managing and supporting suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of quality parts and components in line with organizational standards. Your role focuses on supplier development, performance monitoring, and problem resolution to maintain a stable supply chain.
Lead supplier audits and process capability evaluations.
Implement and monitor APQP, PPAP, and control plans at supplier end.
Address quality issues through structured problem-solving tools (8D, Why-Why analysis, Fishbone).
Drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring defects.
Monitor supplier KPIs such as PPM, on-time delivery, and quality cost.
Conduct regular reviews and follow-ups to ensure continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers during new product development and change management.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and safety standards.
Train and guide suppliers on quality systems and best practices.
