What you'll do
Task Description – Assistant Manager (Quality)
Manage day-to-day quality operations including incoming, in-process, and final inspection to ensure product compliance with customer and industry standards.
Implement and monitor quality management systems (QMS) in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Lead activities related to APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address customer complaints and internal quality issues.
Coordinate with production, design, and supplier quality teams to resolve quality concerns and maintain consistent process performance.
Oversee supplier quality audits, material inspection, and performance evaluations to ensure quality of incoming materials and vendor compliance.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, control plans, inspection reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Drive continuous improvement projects using quality tools such as Kaizen, 5S, 7 QC Tools, and Poka-Yoke to enhance product reliability and reduce rework/rejection.
Monitor process capability, defect trends, and key quality metrics (PPM, COPQ, etc.) to support management reviews and decision-making.
Ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements, safety standards, and company quality policies.
Train and guide the quality team to build awareness and capability in maintaining world-class quality standards.
