This position replacement for Mr. ESWARAN C - Assistant Manager
What you'll do
- Supervise daily operations of the glass line, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Apply technical expertise in: Sputtering process for coating applications, Glass bending process for shaping and forming.
- Glass cutting process for precision sizing & Glass grinding & chamfering process for finishing and edge quality.
- Monitor and maintain production quality standards, minimizing defects and optimizing yield.
- Utilize SAP for production planning, inventory management, and reporting.
- Handle manpower allocation, shift planning, and performance monitoring.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, quality, engineering) to resolve issues quickly.

What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Materials Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience in glass manufacturing or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of sputtering, bending, cutting, grinding, and chamfering processes & Proficiency in SAP and other production management tools
