What you'll do

  • Ensure sustenance and continuous adherence to Quality Management Systems across Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 suppliers
  • Monitor and ensure Fire Safety and Water Safety compliance at Tier‑2 supplier locations.
  • Implement and maintain effective Change Management Control processes at Tier‑2 suppliers.
  • Establish controls for the creation, distribution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Supplier Performance Scorecards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and contingency planning for existing suppliers to ensure supply continuity.
  • Lead and support new supplier onboarding assessments, ensuring compliance with defined quality and process standards.
  • Ensure commodity-wise compliance to customer SOR (Statement of Requirements).
  • Drive digitization and automation initiatives to enhance supplier process efficiency and transparency.
  • Promote and implement, Quality Circle,  Kaizen, and Sustainability initiatives at Tier‑2 suppliers.
  • Plan and execute supplier trainings, vendor meetings, and vendor conferences, including end‑to‑end coordination.
  • Conduct Gemba visits at supplier locations to verify ongoing conformity to agreed processes and product compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers for issue resolution and process improvement.
  • Ensure timely intimation of quality issues and adherence to the 8D problem‑solving process, including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with IMDS, Heavy Metals, and SOC requirements.
  • Drive supplier sustainability reporting, including EcoVadis assessments and CMRT compliance.
  • Monitor, report, and drive improvement in supplier defects and PPM performance.
  • Train and mentor STA/SQA team members to enhance supplier management and functional effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage Continual Improvement projects to strengthen supplier capability and overall performance.

What we are looking for

  • Candidate should have15-20 years experience in field of Supplier development, majorly in Plastic Moulding commodity. He should have hands on experience of handling tasks as mentioned in description and must align with Customer/ organizational expectations to upgrade supplier base on future sustenance activity related to QCD.
