Your task
Must take responsibility and give direction to team, ensuring all quality standards are met or exceeded while maintaining the quoted production rate.
Deal with any personnel issues with the help of the Human Resources Department
Work with support organizations such as MP&L, Quality and Maintenance to efficiently run the production cells, maximize line up time and maximize labor efficiency.
Ensure that all team members are adequately trained to perform their assigned job task.
Take steps to cross-train all members of the team for each workstation.
Ability to set clear goals and hold people accountable for goal attainment.
Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and appraising performance of production operators.
